Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Just a little quick one. A run and stick one. More fun than a David Beckham free kick one. Last night, Deron Williams scored 20 big points. Last night, Deron Williams dished out 12 big assists. Pretty good you say? Wait, I say. It gets better. Last night was the second straight night that Williams had a 20/10 game (points/assists) and it was his 18th such game this season. How about that? The only other player with more 20-point, 10-assist games this season than Williams is none other than LeBron James (19). Being second to Bron Bron ain’t so bad. But as good as that is, Williams is still ten shy of John Stockton’s single-season franchise record of 28, set in 1988-89. Maybe Deron should get himself a pair of them little shorts.
